  • Alstom offers relocation support to qualified candidates and employees who need to move for work purposes cross border. The relocation support is pre-defined in Alstom's international mobility policies. No support can be promised/offered outside of this process. 

    No relocation is offered when the relocation is in the same country. If required, support for modifying the working permit is offered.

Other taxable benefits exist, such as the reimbursement of the monthly public transportation ticket for Oslo zone 1. Details about employee benefits are presented when the employee starts.
    • Denmark: Alstom offers additional benefits to employees, such as health insurance and other benefits may occur.
  • The recruitment process in Alstom may vary depending on the role and location of the vacancy. Generally, the process is as follows:

    1. The job posting: Alstom typically posts job vacancies on their website and on external job boards e.g., LinkedIn.
    2. Application submission: Interested candidates can apply online by submitting their resumes.
    3. Resume screening: The Talent Acquisition team will review and screen the resumes and applications to shortlist candidates to be contacted.
    4. Interviews: Shortlisted candidates are invited for an initial interview, which will typically take place with the Talent Acquisition. The second round of interviews will take place with the hiring manager. Besides the interview stage, references will be checked and in some cases a background check will be done by an external provider.
    5. Selection: Once the interviews are completed, Talent Acquisition together with the hiring manager will evaluate the final candidates and extend an offer letter to the selected candidate.
    6. The candidates that have not reached the short list will be receiving a rejection letter by email.
    7. Onboarding: After accepting the job offer, the newly hired employee will go through an onboarding process. During this process, they will receive orientation and training to get up-to-speed with company policies, procedures, and specific job responsibilities.

The timeline of the recruitment process may depend on various factors, but our goal is to provide a seamless and courteous experience from beginning to end.

Alstom supports flexible working arrangements and methods such as telecommuting, remote work, and flexible schedules when it is possible for the position and compatible with business operations. Therefore, it is possible that Alstom may offer work 100% remote work for certain positions and under specific conditions.
