  • Work in a team

    As a group of graduates, you will have the chance to come together a couple of times and exchange experience, learn about the Alstom values through inspirational workshops, and work together on a group assignment.

  • Gain international exposure

    Gain international exposure

    You will undertake four rotations of three months each around the various departments and locations of the company in the Nordics regions, gaining an understanding of the business and participating in strategic projects.

Master or Bachelor thesis

Master or Bachelor thesis student roles at Alstom are designed to provide you with the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on a specific topic relevant to the company's field of expertise.

  • These roles typically last a maximum of 6 months, aligning with the duration of a typical master's thesis project.
  • You work closely with Alstom's experts and researchers to define a topic, agreed on both sides. The topics of research can vary widely, depending on your specialization.
  • Throughout the duration of your thesis project, you benefit from mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals at Alstom.
  • You will have access to resources, facilities, and data necessary to conduct their research effectively.

Internships

An internship at Alstom typically spans between 3 and 6 months and is designed to provide students or recent graduates with a comprehensive and immersive experience in the field of transportation.

These internships are usually full-time commitments, meaning you are expected to work standard business hours throughout the duration of your placement.

Summer work

Summer worker roles at Alstom are short-term positions typically lasting a maximum of 3 months, designed to provide you with valuable experience during your summer break.

You may be involved in various tasks and projects, depending on your skills, interests, and the needs of the company.
