Alf Henryk Wulf appointed to the Supervisory Board of DEA AG

With effect from 1st of September 2015, DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG has appointed Alf Henry Wulf, Chairman and CEO of ALSTOM Power AG, to its Supervisory Board.

I am very pleased that the owners of Deutsche Erdoel AG have assigned me with a Supervisory Board mandate. In my eyes, the sustainable and safe production of oil and natural gas as well as its storage are an essential element of the energy supply. Fossil fuels will be also part of the main energy sources for the worlds economic development in the coming decades. At the same time, the appointment is an award for Alstom which is one of the leading developers of conventional power plant technologies worldwide, said Wulf.

Alf Henry Wulf leads the business of the ALSTOM Power AG, formerly ALSTOM Germany AG since April 2012. In addition, he is Chairman of ALSTOM Transport Deutschland GmbH. Before joining Alstom, the electrical engineer was Chief Executive Officer of Alcatel-Lucent Germany AG.
