Alstom Grid will participate from 16 to 19 August in the Simpósio de Automação de Sistemas Elétricos (SIMPASE), an event to discuss the automation of electrical systems. In addition to the commercial booth, executives of the company will participate in panels on several strategic subjects for the sector. Topics will cover digital substations - architectures and automation, as well as the new generation of smart substations and the increased efficiency and operational safety of the systems.

SIMPASE is a biennial event held within the Brazilian electrical sector. Promoted by the Brazilian National Committee of Cigré, it is considered as a valuable forum for the exchange of experiences in automation-related topics.  The event will showcase state-of-the-art and the new technologies presented through technical reports and interaction with international experts at the exhibition.

SIMPASE opens many doors for the Alstom business and promotes important discussions for the technological development of the sector, says Sérgio Gomes, Vice President of Alstom Grid Latin America.
