Romuald Gicquel is nominated Site Director for Alstom Transport in Ornans

Alstom Transport has nominated Romuald Gicquel as Site Director of Ornans. The site is Alstoms global centre of excellence for the design and fabrication of traction motors and generators. The sites 340 employees design and produce traction motors for Alstoms rail projects. 

Romuald Gicquel began his career in 2000 at Péchiney, where he held several management positions in the fields of production, maintenance and continuous improvement, both in France and abroad. 

He joined Alstom in 2010 on the site of Belfort as Industrial and Investments Director for the Groups Power sector. In 2012 he took up the position of Lean Manufacturing Director.

Romuald Gicquel is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines in Paris.
