Alstom welcomes on its stand the French Secretary of State for Transport Alain Vidalies, an opportunity to present to him the latest Alstom technologies.

The role of Alstom is to innovate in order to propose solutions that are more accessible, more connected, more ecological, more reliable, and easier to maintain. A true showcase for Alstoms knowhow, France is holding the full attention of foreign clients.

And there is no lack of projects in France.

Le Grand Paris is an opportunity to innovate and develop new technologies: new rolling stock, a new signalling system and new infrastructure could be deployed.

Another subject: the TGV of the future. Supported by the French state, Alstom is working on a very high-speed train with increased modularity to respond to the needs of French and international markets, capable of transporting up to 30% more passengers while consuming 50% less energy.

More accessible and more comfortable with its top-notch onboard services,  it will be a shining example of French knowhow, like the new generation of the Citadis tram or the Coradia trains, whose mainline intercity Coradia Liner V200 version is being proposed as a replacement for the Corail trains.

All these projects are opportunities for collaboration between Alstom and a competitive network of French industrial partners in order to innovate, dynamise employment and reinforce the French rail industry.
