Alstom supports the creation of the Advanced Executive Masters LIIP Program by Ecole Polytechnique and Essec. It is a strategic issue for the industrial sector to develop a network of high-potential professionals in Industrial Project Management, as the ever-increasing need for competent professionals in this field does not match the numbers of talented candidates.

Taught in English over a 6-month period, academic studies is the 1st phase of The Dual Degree Programme which includes:

  • A study period abroad
  • 439 academic hours concentrated around 3 principal themes: Organizational Behaviour for Project Managers; Project Management Methodologies; Business Management Skills for Project Managers
  • 21 lectures given by expert industrialists
  • Teamwork on a collective project, on a topic suggested by industrial partners
  • An IPMA certification upon course completion

A 6-month professional mission is also taking place, either in the form of an internship, a temporary or permanent contract or returning to ones prior company, together with a professional thesis related to the mission.

Recent graduates with an engineering degree or equivalent (Master's level degree) and young professionals (with a Master's degree and at least 3 years of professional experience) are eligible for this programme.
