Alstom welcomes extension of Virgin Trains' franchise extension.

Alstom is delighted to continue its support of Virgin and its passengers as we work hand-in-hand with the company through its franchise extension to 2017. In order to help Virgin continue to offer a world class passenger experience, Alstom is investing in our traincare facilities, in the ongoing refurbishment of the Pendolino fleet, and in our state-of-the-art maintenance regimes. Having built the Pendolino fleet and having seen it become an iconic, instantly recognisable train in Virgins livery on the UKs railways, were looking forward to many more years of working with Virgin and our UK supply base on the West Coast Main Line franchise.
