Alstom Italy lights up less

February 14th - Energy saving day

The Alstom Italy sites of Bari, Bologna, Guidonia (Rome), Lecco, Milan, Nola, Noventa di Piave (VE), Rome, Savigliano (CN), Sesto San Giovanni (MI), tomorrow will join the initiative M'illumino di meno.

Launched 10 years ago by Caterpillar, Rai Radio 2 broadcast, the campaign aims to raise awareness of institutions, companies and private citizens to energy saving and rationalization of energy consumption.

Alstom has chosen to support the initiative observing a symbolic "energy silence" throughout the day, turning off the illuminated signs of the buildings and raising awareness of its 3,500 employees to keep a sustainable behaviour as regards energy consumption.
