Alstom Grid awarded Star of Export 2013 in Turkey

Alstom Grid Enerji Endüstrisi A.. was recently awarded Star of Export 2013in Turkey with the highest volume of export in the Transformers, Inductors category. The annual awards ceremony - organised by Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters Associations (IMMIB) - took place on February 19^th to recognise top exporters.

Alstom Grid, which operates the largest transformer factory in Turkey, maintained its leading position in 2013 in its category. Since 2011, the Gebze plant has demonstrated Alstoms strong level of exports and continued success in its field[1].

Alstom Grid in Turkey exports around 85 per cent of its production of transformers to Asia, Europe, Middle East and North America. With its first-in-class facilities and engineers, Alstom Turkey is recognised as a preferred supplier in the field of power transmission.
