500 children expected for "Kids at Alstom" initiative

About 500 children are expected in 7 Italian sites (Bari, Bologna, Nola, Noventa di Piave, Savigliano and Sesto San Giovanni) for the special open day organized for employees children. The event is part of the "Kids at office with Mom and Dad" promoted by Corriere della Sera/Corriere Economia in collaboration with La Stampa.

Children will join mom and dad at their workplace to find out where they spend their days, to meet their colleagues and make factories and offices a creative workshop for a day.

Through crafts and games, children will be invited to consider how our small daily actions impact on the environment. At the end of the day there will be a snack for all.

Given the success of last edition - says Raffaella Alberi, Alstom Italy Human Resources Director we decided to join Kids at office initiative also this year, involving 7 of our Italian sites, for a total of about 500 children. This participation shows how important is today for working parents to have moments in which work and family can live together, even in a pleasant and constructive way, to improve their quality of life".
