Alstom has signed an agreement with the Trapaga Council (Vizcaya) to boost and promote work experience amongst local youngsters. This initiative is being lead from Alstom Power´s industrial plant specialised in hydroelectric power.

Javier Inunciaga, HR Director for this industrial site in Galindo (Vizcaya), has signed an agreement to assign 4 students with grants in the areas of electrics, electronics or mechanical engineering. The grants, designed for youngsters under the age of 30, are valid for the academic year 2012-2013. 50% of the grant will be provided at the beginning of the academic year in October, and the other 50% will be provided with the final grades, once having passed the subjects.

Javier Inunciaga highlighted Alstom´s compromise to society and, in line with the CSR policy, backs the training of these youngsters as a means to reduce the high levels of unemployment amongst the younger generations.
