A smash hit musical recently rolled into Pembroke, South Wales.  The show, supported by Alstom, proved a knock-out success with dancing in the aisles and £19,100 raised for charity.

The annual 'That'll be the Day' show has been touring the UK for the last 10 years but for the first time last year, the community of Pembroke had chance to experience the popular show at local venue, Folly Farm.  The show this year took place on 15th and 16th July, with a full audience on both nights.

Thanks to great organisation by Phil Thompson, Ciotek, PR consultant for Alstom at Pembroke Power Station, the show went without a hitch on both nights. The audience experienced a musical journey through the 50s, 60s and 70s.

The huge figure raised was made possible by Alstom's support, Folly Farms assistance and support, the support crew and of course the generosity of the Pembrokeshire audience who supported this years event. The money raised from this event is a split donation between Wales Air Ambulance and RNLI.  The cheques were officially handed over on 26th July.

This show was great example of a group of people working together to help national charities.  The RNLI costs £378,000 daily to function and Wales Air Ambulance costs around £5,000,000 a year to operate.
