Alstom’s latest project in India

Alstom is currently the leading supplier of train control and signalling systems for metros in India. The company has already equipped the first two lines of the Delhi metro and has since turned its attention to metros in Bangalore and Chennai.

Inauguration of Bangalore’s metro in India 

Alstom dealt with the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the train control and signalling systems. Bangalore Metro has also been equipped with Alstom’s Automatic Train Control System, known as “Urbalis”. The first line was inaugurated on 20 October 2011. Read the press release.
