S.O.S. brings a whole new meaning for Pembroke fundraiser

On Friday 28th January, Alstom employees from Pembroke Power Station, joined in with a local charity event known as the 'RNLI S.O.S. fund-raising day'.  The charity incorporates the S.O.S. slogan to help organisations organise fund-raising events.  Previous events have centred on themes such as 'Sip Our Soup', 'Sing Our Songs', 'Scoff Our Sandwiches'.

Alstom organised a bucket collection at Pembroke and "themed" their S.O.S message on site as 'Safety Optimises Success' - and it really did!  A fantastic £650 was collected for this great cause on site. Participating companies were Alstom, along with contractors NRL , Shaws and Somi.
