Rotterdam : the largest Citadis fleet in the World keeps
increasing in size

These new Citadis tramways will run on the inner-city
network and will replace the old tramways which have been in
service for 25 years.

The first tramway was transported on a truck from La Rochelle
(France) to the Netherlands. It will be tested in the coming
months before it will be put into operation.

In 2000, Rotterdam was one of the first Citadis customers,
ordering 60 tramway train sets for its “Tram-plus”
network in Rotterdam (the last ones entered into service in
2004).
