During the month of June 2010, our Systems Unit in Spain signed two new contracts for mobile substations for export. The first contract consists in supplying two 69/13.8 kV and two 69-115/13.8 kV mobile substations, all with 20 MVA power transformers for connecting generation facilities to the power grid in Venezuela. These substations will include 145 kV Hypact hybrid modules, transformers designed specifically for this application in our factory in Indonesia, PIX-H Medium Voltage cabins and the entire protection and control and auxiliary equipment necessary for its operation. The second contract consists in supplying a 170-60/11.5 kV mobile substation with a 35 MVA power transformer for Sweden, manufactured in 5 independent modules (power transformer on a mobile platform and remaining equipment in containers). The equipment will be delivered in coordination with our Systems Unit in Sweden and will consist of a 170kV GIS F35-5 substation, WI cabins for 60 kV, a 35 MVA power transformer, 24 kV cabins and protection and control equipment and auxiliary utilities.
These two new orders confirm our position as leaders in applications of this kind, not only in the Spanish market but also for exports, and reinforce our experience as a World Excellence Centre in Areva T&D1 for the development of mobile substations.
