The Reims Citadis on display in Nice

The display will run until 7 August 2009, and Alstom has
provided a life-size model of the future Reims tramway, which
features the same APS ground-level power supply technology.

The Communauté Urbaine de Nice Côte d’Azur has
chosen the tramway to link the territory’s most densely
populated areas and its major business centres. Twenty Alstom
Citadis trams have linked Las Planas to Pont Michel via the Old
Town and Place Masséna since November 2007, serving 21
stops over some 9 km of tracks. This is the first stage of an
ambitious transport development plan and the city will
eventually be crossed by three tram lines running on 40 km of
tracks.
