Alstom Transport's maintenance site in Romania gets dual
"health and safety" and "environment" certification

Both certifications are recognition of the company's global
commitment to a quality-oriented initiative, thanks in
particular to its Environment Health and Safety policy, and
mean that Alstom Transport can now reply to invitations to
tender in Romania.

Alstom Transport has also just had its AFER certification
renewed, which is issued by the Romanian Rail Authority. The
AFER accreditation is essential for any company wishing to
carry out rail maintenance in Romania and has to be reapplied
for every year. Indeed, Alstom Transport has been maintaining,
repairing and renovating the entire Bucharest metro fleet since
2004.
