The exhibition, which covered the history of technical
developments in the rail sector, was held at the CFLs
maintenance site at the train station in the Bonnevoie district
of Luxembourg City. Exhibits included trains ranging from the
very first steam locomotives put back into operation
for the occasion to the latest CFL locomotives and the
new-generation double-deck regional express train built by
Alstom Transport, 10 of which were ordered by the CFL in
January 2009, with delivery scheduled for 2010.

Visitors also had the chance to see Alstoms ATLAS
signalling system for Level 1 ERTMS* (speed regulation using
data-transmission beacons placed on each sign or traffic
light), which is installed on some of the CFL rolling
stock.
