Alstom teams up with MIIT, the largest university complex
in Russia

The aim is to familiarize them with the companys
internal organizational structure as well as its management and
production methods. It is also an opportunity for Alstom to
select talented students to participate in the
company's projects in Russia. In accordance with the
agreement, Alstom will also provide support to the university
for joint research projects. Experts from Alstom will hold
meetings and conferences on management and technical subjects
for students and researchers from the university.

This is the first agreement Alstom has signed with a Russian
institution of higher education in this case a State
university linked to the Ministry of Transport. MIIT
coordinates a network of nine similar universities in the
Russian Federation and counts nearly 127,000 students, all
programmes combined. It is the Russian leader in training for
railway and rail infrastructure specialists.
