Sao Paulo State Governor Jose Serra, Secretary of
Metropolitan Transports Jose Luiz Portella Pereira, as well as
Alstom Transport representatives participated to the inaugural
ceremony. The press and a numerous population attended this
entry into commercial service.
This first train had been delivered to the customer on
December 2008 for commissioning. The 16 trains, offering
especially better comfort and access for disabled people, are
being produced at Lapa Plant, in Brazil.
