Alstoms Power Systems Mfg affiliate expands its facilities in Florida

PSM is a high technology company with a leading position as a provider of improved gas turbine parts and low-NOx upgrade solutions for gas turbines.

In recognition of its growth project, PSM will celebrate with a ceremonial ground-breaking on Friday, May 16th. Patrick Kron, Chairman and CEO of Alstom will attend the celebration.

PSMs growth plan includes the addition and renovation of 75,000 square feet of space. The expansion will allow the company to diversify its operations to include manufacturing, repair, and new technology development with a significant increase in job positions.

PSM considered several alternatives before deciding to expand its current facility in Jupiter. The support and collaboration provided by the Town of Jupiter and the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County were instrumental in their decision. 

Our Jupiter service center will now include the manufacturing and repair sectors under one roof to join our highly successful technical component, said Bob Kraft, PSM President.

Patrick Kron, Chairman and CEO of Alstom commented: The expansion of Alstoms PSM business operation will strengthen the Groups position in the US market, where gas turbine service shows strong growth.

PSM was acquired by Alstom in March 2007 and now forms part of Alstoms Power Service Sector.
