The Online survey of 6,000 people, carried out by the ICS
asked people to score different aspects of customer service,
before giving companies an overall rating out of 100. The
survey focused on customer priorities such as complaint
handling, professionalism, quality, delivery time; and
competence and delivery of staff.

Hot on the heels of the ICS survey results is the announcement
that Virgin Trains has jointly topped the Passenger Focus
National Passenger Survey for long distance train operators,
with an overall score of 86% satisfaction for its West Coast
operation.

Virgin Trains also tops the table in Frequency and Punctuality
of trains and in providing customer information.

Completing a hat-trick Travel Weekly magazine has named Virgin
Trains “Best Rail Company”. The award was voted for
by Travel Agents and the travel trade.

The Alstom Traincare centres for West Coast Mailines are
offering new technology (e-train with fleet console) and
services that help Virgin Trains delivering their world-class
intercity service to their customers.
