Alstom creates job opportunities for young people from
priority suburbs

Under the agreement, Alstom commits to three main actions:
provide information and promote the careers available within
the company, implement an internship policy to give young
people practical experience in the workplace, and help those
from disadvantaged urban areas enter the job market.

This agreement will be implemented mainly by Alstom Power
Service France. A division specialised in services and
maintenance for power plants in France, Alstom Power Service
France has its headquarters located in one of the target areas,
La Courneuve in the Seine Saint-Denis suburb, in the Paris
area. In the next three years, Alstom Power Service France will
offer 50 jobs to the target group. It will also set up 75
apprenticeship and work-study training programmes.

This initiative is part of an active recruitment and
training programme in Alstom, which plans to hire more than one
thousand people this year in France to work for its equipment
and services activities for power generation and rail
transport.
