Forsmark awards Alstom Power Service Sweden an unique
engineering contract

Alstom Power Service in Sweden has won a
three-year contract for the Swedish nuclear power plant Forsmark.
This engineering assignment is based on a frame agreement. The
project, named LEFFE, will be finalized in May 2011.

Forsmark 3, one of the three power stations
owned by Forsmark Kraftgrupp AB (which is a Vattenfall owned
company), is located 150 km north of Stockholm. Alstom was
assigned to build Forsmark turbine power plant in the mid 1970's
and was put into service in 1980, 1981 and 1985. Since then
Alstom Power Service Sweden has been working regularly with
maintenance, upgrade and modernisation projects at Forsmark, one
of Swedens three nuclear power plants, along with Ringhals
and Oskarshamn.

Alstom will provide project management,
mechanical, electrical and I&C engineering as well as
re-qualification procedures.
