In April 2007, RATP ordered 34 extra Citadis trams from
Alstom for the second and final converted option within this
contract. On 26 September 2008, the first of these Citadis
trainsets has been delivered.
The design of these 34 trams has been adapted with a new nose
and a streamlining. They will operate on the existing and on
the extended section of line T2 towards Porte de Versailles in
the south of Paris (16 trainsets), including a connection with
the T3 line and to the North West of Paris (18 trainsets).
