Open Day at Alstom Le Creusot : A showcase of innovation
and excellence

The event will open the doors to Alstom Transports
world centre of excellence, specializing in bogies. During a
tour designed and led by employees, visitors will be able to
view:

- the various activities performed at the site,

- tasks involving high levels of value added and advanced
technical expertise,

- the sites engineering, testing and production
technical resources,

- the results of investment in new production machines.

In addition to the sites activities and products,
visitors will be able to take advantage of a range of events,
including a visit to a TGV power car and a freight locomotive,
demonstrations in the design office, an exhibition of bogies,
and a miniature railway circuit. They will also be able to
relive the world rail speed record of 3 April this year,
through films and a conference, and see an advance premiere of
an AGVTM bogie, which was tested on the record-setting train
and is set to be fitted to the new generation of Alstom very
high-speed trains.
