This exhibition at the Galeries Lafayette men’s
department store, on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris, is part
of “France, c’est renversant” (“France,
it’s amazing”), a promotional campaign organized by
Galeries Lafayette to “celebrate the excellence of a land
that has always known how to inspire talent and creative
minds”.

This promotion “showcases excellence in art, fashion,
luxury, design, technology, cuisine, sport and
lifestyle”. An advertising campaign created by Jean-Paul
Goude is being used to promote the exhibition with the slogan
“La France vit plus fort” (“France lives a
fuller life”).
