Alstom wins contracts for fast turnaround supply to power project in Ghana

Alstom has won a 48 million euro contract to supply two GT11N2 gas turbines with two TOPAIR air-cooled turbogenerators and auxiliaries for a new 230 MW power plant at Kpone, near Tema in south-east Ghana.
Drawing on stock equipment supply, Alstom will be able to deliver the first unit in less than 12 months.
The turbines feature a low emission combustion system and are capable of operating with either natural gas or diesel oil.
