Delivery of the first renovated AVE train set

For RENFE, the Spanish operator, this projects aims at
adapting its high speed trains to the new quality and comfort
standard it wants to offer to its customers.



The integral renovation works are being carried out in
Renfes workshops La Sagra Toledo and include the
renovation of interior fittings and the revision of equipment
as well as the mechanic components. Synthetic wood floors,
modern and comfortable seats, outlets for laptops and mobiles
and flat screens for videos are among the fittings newly
installed in all cars.



The initial contract includes an option for the future
renovation of 6 additional AVE trains operating between
Barcelona and Valencia, thus renovating the entire 24 trainset
fleet supplied by Alstom.
