Our innovations recognised in Brazil

A Brazilian magazine,  "Revista Ferroviaria", has
recently presented the Railoader of the Year Award
to Alstom Transport for its signalling project in the country.
This integrated automatic system and operations control will
replace the current railway signalling and communication system
which relay by radio information to the control architecture of
the trains.

Thanks to this system, named Communication Based
Train Control (CBTC), the operator will be able circulate more
trains, in safer conditions, more regularly and on time. Work for
the 45 million contract, signed with MRS Logística
S.A,, one of the largest freight operators in Brazil, will be
completed in 2009.
