In a place where the paths of all forms of art cross, SNCF
has gathered a range of arts - from cinema, fashion,
photography and architecture to contemporary art and design -
beneath the nave of the Grand Palais, in Paris.

Alstom Transport will be present in the “Visions”
area, given over to the train of the future, as envisioned by
SNCF and by leading design academies, and featuring in
particular the 1:20 scale model of the V150, the train that set
the world rail speed record, in April 2007.

Works by Sandeep Brambha, a student at Strate College in Issy
les Moulineaux, will also be displayed. The pieces on show were
produced in the Alstom Transport Design & Styling
department, around the theme of “a one to three hour
train journey in the year 2030”. Between March and June
2007, the student worked within Alstom’s team of
designers of interiors and exteriors, of colours and materials,
digital modellers…
