Patrick Dubert, Senior Vice-President Human Resources and a
member of Alstom’s Executive Committee, has been named as
« Human Resource Manager of 2007» during a
presentation ceremony on 5 November 2007 in Paris attended by
Patrick Kron, Chairman and CEO of Alstom.

This event, which is in its 11th year, is organised by the
Hudson recruitment consulting and HR company in partnership
with L’Express magazine and Le Figaro newspaper. The
winner is chosen by a jury of 15 Human Resources Directors from
large companies or government administrations.

After a recovery which ended in 2004, Alstom’s human
resource strategy has been designed to accompany and support
the growth of the Group. It consists of building up a common
culture around a vision and values which strengthen
cohesiveness and collective efficiency. It aims to prepare the
Group’s future: Alstom employs 65,000 people in 70
countries and has taken on more than 14,000 new recruits during
the past 18 months. The strategy also includes defining and
implementing clear and widely known policies in all areas of
human resources, whether dealing with social partners, or
involving working conditions, health and safety, training,
career management, mobility, performance evaluation and
employees’ compensation and benefits.
