On January 8, 2007, eighteen months after the signature of
the contract, the first trainset for the Le Mans tramway
arrived in the city.
Alstom Transport will supply 23 trainsets for the first
tramway line, which will have a length of 15km. On-track tests
will commence on February 19. From April 2007, two to three
trainsets per month will be delivered to Le Mans, with entry
into service of the line scheduled for November 2007.
