Paris to discover the Tramway des
Maréchaux and the MF2000 during the National Heritage
Days

The first one will be exhibited on the platform of the Porte
d'Ivry station from 10 am to 6.30 pm, and the second will be
exhibited on Boulevard Massena from10 am to 6.30 pm.



Deliveries of the 45 MF2000 trainsets intended for the
Métro Line 2 will start as of July 2007. The MF2000
is equipped with two completely new systems used for the first
time in the Paris Métro: video-surveillance and air
conditioning.



The T3, to be inaugurated on December 16, is the third contract
between ALSTOM Transport and the RATP for the provision of a
tramway system, following T1 (Gare de St-Denis - Noisy le Sec)
and T2 (La Défense - Issy Val de Seine).
