Back in 1986, Grenoble was the first tramway in the world to
have a dropped floor to facilitate wheel-chair access.

This and other innovations, developed since with
Grenoble’s transport authority, today equip all the CITADIS
trams we sell.

Continuing its pioneering character, Grenoble is now the first
to display its confidence in ALSTOM expertise through the badge
on the tram nose.

The logo which adorns each train in the 35-strong fleet
expresses :

  • the designer and manufacturer identity,
  • the high-quality of the product, as well as
  • the commitment to reliability and performance.

Both discreet and elegant, the ALSTOM badge leaves the usual
latitude to the tramway operator to “dress” the
vehicles in its traditional colours ; its  presence is
witness to our top-quality collaboration with our customer.
