"Record-breaking" solidarity in favour of African
communities

"Heaven's Angels" are health workers on motorbikes who
deliver vital healthcare to all African communities. As some
roads are too difficult for cars or ambulances.
All West Coast Main Line staff and all partners involved in the
record-breaking run decided to donate the first proceeds of
ticket sales to this charity. All ALSTOM staff who travelled on
the train during its record run donated their day's pay to the
"Heaven's Angels".
