ALSTOM Finland Oy will
deliver one new Electrostatic Precipitator to Boliden Kokkola Oy's zinc
plant in FINLAND.

ALSTOM Finland Oy and Boliden Kokkola Oy
have signed a contract on the delivery of one electrostatic precipitator for
the zinc roaster at Boliden Kokkolas zinc plant in
Finland. 

The zinc roasting
process is a demanding process, where the ESP works in the temperature range of
320380 oC. The erection of the ESP will start in March 2006. The
old ESP will be removed and the new, fully pre-erected ESP will be installed in
one lifting only in June. The guaranteed dust emission level for the new ESP is
150 mg/Nm3. The start-up of the filter is in June 2006.

Boliden Kokkola Oy on
the west coast of Finland is
the second largest zinc plant in Europe and
the fifth largest in the world. The main product of the plant is special
high-grade (SHG) zinc. The production capacity of the zinc plant is 280,000
tons.

The previous ALSTOM ESP
delivery to Kokkola zinc plant was in 1989. ALSTOM has successfully executed
several electrostatic precipitator projects in copper, pyrite and zinc roasting
plants in the world.
