At the Public Transport exhibition, co-organized for the
first time by GART (Group of Authorities Responsible for
Transport) and the UTP (Public Transport Association), ALSTOM
will showcase three of its principle product lines:

- The CITADIS range and its many commercial successes
around the world.

- ALSTOM know-how in automatic metros, with the example
of Singapore.

- The new generation of regional express trains, notably
the TER 2N New Generation.

ALSTOM will mainly highlight the new contract for 21 full
low floor CITADIS trams signed with RATP in December 2003. The
trams will serve the Maréchaux Sud line. Delivery of the
first vehicles is set to begin in 2005, with service beginning
in 2006.

ALSTOM will also attend meetings in a forum on railway
innovation and present its tram-train offer and its solutions
for tramways without catenaries.

With more than 35 product lines and a presence in more than
60 countries, ALSTOM’s Transport sector offers complete
products and services for new rolling stock, signaling, and
electrical and mechanical infrastructure as well as maintenance
and rehabilitation services to four distinct types of
customers: urban transit authorities and operators; intercity
passenger rail operators and rolling stock owners; rail freight
operators; and intercity railway infrastructure owners.
ALSTOM’s Transport sector, with sales of
€4.8 billion in financial year 2003-2004, is among
the world’s leading suppliers to the railway industry.
