RENFE places two orders with ALSTOM-CAF CONSORTIUM valued over 1.7 billion in total

RENFE (Spanish State Railways) has informed the consortium of ALSTOM and CAF that the consortium has been awarded a contract of 1,777 million for the delivery ( 937 million) and maintenance ( 840 million) of 30 high speed trains (shuttle trains) and 45 high speed trains (trains of variable track gauge).
