In the context of its sustainable development policy and as
one of the leaders in railway infrastructures, ALSTOM has to
encourage its suppliers to commit themselves to the principles
of sustainable development and to guide them to integrate its
aspects in the products design. For several years now, ALSTOM
has been integrating the preservation, protection and
improvement of the environment quality, protection of
people’s health and the rational use of natural
resources, in the design and manufacturing of its railway

st European congress for clear and safe
technologies in mechanical engineering, ALSTOM will present
integration principles of environmental aspects in the rolling
stock design.
