UISOL experts teaching Utility University courses on distribution management, distribution automation and asset management
Experts from UISOL are teaching three Utility University courses at the upcoming DistribuTECH Conference in San Diego, California (February 2-5, 2015). This course focuses on asset investment and industry best practices related to recently published ISO 55000 standards. Two case studies from leading Canadian electric utilities will show how utility asset managers are adopting and implementing asset investment planning.

Distribution Management Systems Strategies for Success (UU 206; Monday, Feb. 2 from 8 a.m. to noon)
This course provides information to plan, integrate and commission a distribution management system (DMS) and will feature a Duke Energy presentation on its recent DMS deployment that went live in record time.

CVR, Self-Healing and Other World-Class Feeder Automation Applications Strategies for Success (UU 306; Monday, Feb. 2 from 1-5 p.m.)
This course focuses on the field portion of the electric distribution utilitys grid, providing guidance on implementing advanced feeder automation functions such as VVO/CVR and FLISR (self-healing). The course will feature two utility case studies.
