This is the second order following a frame agreement signed
in November 2004 with four local railways. The new trains will
run on two regional lines linking Holbæk to Nyköbing
and Töllöse to Slagelse. In total, they will cover
over 100 kilometres and are expected to carry 1.7 million
passengers a year.

“The CORADIA LINT trains will replace the existing
fleet that is up to 30 years old. They will significantly
improve passenger comfort and increase traffic reliability and
punctuality,”
said Nils Daugaard, Customer
Manager.

They will be equipped with video surveillance, automatic gap
closing, flex-areas for luggage, bicycles, prams etc, toilets
and air-conditioning. Delivery will start in September
2007.
