The association of European railways industries, UNIFE,
organised its annual General Assembly in Madrid on 14th June.
For this occasion, apart from the usual conferences amongst the
European Railway Industry members, a VHST show was organised in
Atocha Station.
The event first started with a round table panel discussing
the subject: Spain, the role model for railway
development in Europe. For this round table, Spanish
railway administration, ADIF and Renfe, plus a EU Transport
coordinator were invited to speak.
The round table was followed by the VHST showing in Atocha
Station. VHS trains at show were renovated Alstom
S-100s, Talgo/Bombardier S-102s, Siemens
S-103s and CAF/Alstom S-120s. National media plus
some international trade press covered the event.
