"I can’t even see its end!?” Our new trams for Berlin are real giants! At 50 meters long and 2.40 meters wide, this generation is the new king on Berlin's streets. More space for everyone (at least in the tram)! Running on one of the busiest tram lines in Germany, they provide even more comfort and safety with a new running gear, an updated lighting concept and improved accessibility - even with 100,000 passengers a day. Our long-standing cooperation with @BVG reaches the next milestone. 📣 The extensions of Line14 in Paris, using Alstom’s new-generation MP14 metros, have been officially inaugurated! These innovative trains now provide a 40-minute link between Saint-Denis - Pleyel and Orly Airport, and a reduction in energy consumption of almost 20%. We’re happy to announce that we’ve signed a €323 million contract with Mercitalia Rail, of Polo Logistica FS, to supply 70 #Traxx Universal locomotives with maintenance services.
